Sprinkler Design and Calculation Course (2024)  Hydraulic design is complex and little understood in general. The ability to plug numbers into a computer program designed for sprinkler hydraulic calculation means very little unless you know what is being achieved and can read the resultant print out. The modules provide the candidate with the required information in order for them to make informed decisions when undertaking hydraulic design. We aim to provide a thorough grounding and through actual application, the candidate will come away with a proper grasp of the requirements of fixed fire protection.  R73,500.00    2024-02-14  View
Sprinkler Fire Pump Course - Next Date TBC  Fire pump sizing and the basic understanding of pumping principles is little understood within the industry. The sprinkler installers know how to calculate a fixed fire protection requirement but not how to order a pump, and the pump suppliers know how to size a pump but not calculate a sprinkler systems requirement. This leaves a huge rift between the correct calculation of a sprinkler system and the resultant pump and water supply requirements. The object of this course is to bridge this chasm and to create a Certificate issued by the ASIB that is meaningful within the industry in respect of competency in this field.  R23,850.00    1970-01-01  View
